Summer Reading is going virtual with Beanstack.

• The summer online reading challenge is open to kids, ages 0-12 and teens, ages 12-17.
• It’s easy to participate! Beginning June 1st, sign up here.

Children’s Summer Reading 

We have online summer reading challenges for children ages 0-6, and ages 6-12.

• It’s easy to participate! Start by signing up with Beanstack here. Be sure to download the Beanstack app and track your reading on the go!
• Then log in often to track your time spent reading together, or reading independently, and participating in fun activities. 
• You’ll earn virtual badges in order to complete your summer reading challenge and earn your Summer Reading Award. Plus, everyone who signs up wins a prize!

Teen Summer Reading

There are two ways to participate! Either sign up for our online summer reading challenges for teens ages 12-17 or play Teen Summer Bingo. 

Online Teen Summer Reading Challenge:

• To join our online summer reading challenge, start by signing up with Beanstack here. Be sure to download the Beanstack app and track your reading on the go!
• Then log in often to track your time spent reading together, or reading independently, and participating in fun activities. 
• You’ll earn virtual badges in order to complete your summer reading challenge and earn your Summer Reading Award. Plus, everyone who finishes will be entered in our summer prize raffle!

Teen Summer Reading Bingo:

• To play Teen Summer Reading Bingo download a Teen Summer Reading Bingo card or pick up a Bingo Card in the library.
• Return your completed Bingo card by Saturday, July 30 to be entered in our summer prizes raffle.

HOW DOES SUMMER READING BINGO WORK?

Spend your summer reading great books and you can win fabulous prizes! Fill in a Bingo Card and email, or mail it in, or post a photo via Instagram or Twitter. Each book title may only be used once per card, and only one entry per person, please.

WHAT IF I NEED IDEAS FOR BOOKS FOR MY BINGO SQUARES?

Pick a book from one of the library’s reading lists. Check out lists on our page via our website. We have a local authors list, as well as books highlighted by librarians and library staff.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY COMPLETED BINGO CARD?

Summer Reading Bingo Cards will be available online.

Adult Summer Reading Bingo runs until August 27. All submissions for prizes must be received by 5 p.m. on

Saturday, August 27, 2022.

WHAT CAN I WIN AND HOW?

BLACKOUT CARD: 

Complete all 25 squares to be entered in the drawing for our grand prizes—you might win a Kindle Fire or a variety of other prizes.

BINGO: Complete a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line and you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card to Book Passage. Each book title may only be used once per card, and only one entry per person.
