DESCRIPTION: Biological monitoring for wetlands restoration work associated with the Doherty Drive. Multi-Use Path (MUP) project completed in 2013.

LOCATION: Wetlands adjacent to Doherty Drive between Redwood High School and CMPA in Larkspur

BENEFIT: The MUP project required work in the wetlands adjacent to Doherty Drive, which triggered environmental permits.  A condition of the permits was five years of post-construction biological monitoring of the wetland restoration work to ensure the successful re-establishment of native plants and removal of invasive species.  This fiscal year is the final year of monitoring.

BUDGET & FUNDING: (fully funded) FY 2017/18 - $6,886 - General Fund Reserve. Total - $34,430 General Fund Reserve

DESCRIPTION: Biological monitoring for wetlands restoration work associated with the Doherty Bridge Replacement project completed in 2015.

LOCATION:Doherty Drive Bridge, in front of Central Marin Police Authority building at 250 Doherty Drive in Larkspur

BENEFIT: The Doherty Drive Bridge Replacement project included work in the creek beds at the project site. A condition of the environmental permits required five years of post-construction biological monitoring of the wetland restoration work to ensure re-vegetation success of native plants and removal of invasive species.  

BUDGET & FUNDING: (Fully funded) FY 2017/18-$18,000- Federal HBP/ Bridge Fund. Total $54,000
